Shayne Magda is coming back for his final high school season of wrestling with big plans. Coming off a great season of football, Shayne is ready to have a phenomenal season of wrestling. Last season Shayne was the only wrestler on the Madison team to qualify for states, all the he did not make it far, it is still a great accomplishment.
Shayne’s biggest goal of his senior season to place in states. To reach his goal, he is working as hard as he can in the wrestling room. Every day at practice he puts in all his energy so he can reach his goal of placing in states, or even winning states. Shayne believes this season is going to go very well. They have a lot of talent coming to the matt this year.
Not giving up this season and always giving his 100% is what is going to help him throughout this season. Shayne expectations for the team is to make it farther in state duels, and for himself he expects to always push himself as hard as he can.
His message to the underclassmen is to never give up and just always work hard. If you work hard you’ll get to places. Being his last season of wrestling he is sad, and is truly going to miss this sport a lot. There is a possibility that Shayne will play in college. Be ready to watch Shayne's season and the rest of Madison's wrestling team’s season.
