One Last Season

Senior, Haley Cruikshank is two-year member of the Varsity Basketball Cheer Team and a one-year member of the Varsity Football Cheer Team. She has earned both her varsity and JV letter, earned academic awards for the past three years, and earned streak of the month.

Haley is apart of student council and is a straight A student. Outside of school, she works 20+ hours a week, volunteers for babysitting, raises money for the cheer team, and taken part in “Joggin for the Noggin”.

Haley is always high energy on the sidelines and after a great season of football cheer leading, she’s ready to kick off basketball season. “I always love to help my school and take part in the pep assemblies even if Mr. Fisher mentions it last minute”. She has high hopes for a great basketball season and plans on making her last season of cheer her best yet. She loves cheering with all the other girls, who are like a family to her.

Haley’s extremely dedicated and has worked very hard throughout her cheering career. Her fellow teammates talk very highly of her, and say she has great jumps and she’s very animated when she performs. She always tries to get the crowd excited for the games. As for the rest of her high school career, she would like to earn her honors diploma and continue to hold her 4.0 GPA.


When asked about her most memorable moment of high school, she said she loved the pep assemblies for the football team, which are always fun. She enjoyed seeing everyone getting hyped up and excited before the games. After high school, Haley would like to attend college and either major in criminology or psychology. Haley’s favorite movie is “The Greatest Showman” and her favorite class is human behavior with Mrs. Gilligan. One of her favorite pastimes is watching the Browns with her family on football Sundays.
