The Madison boys varsity soccer team is back and better than ever for another great season! They’ve been practicing all summer for this season! Last night, Thursday August 30th, the team traveled all the way to Edgewood and won their game, Madison 4 - Edgewood 2. The boys have been practicing very hard, and all of their hard work paid off in this game!
During the first half on the match we had our first goal from our Senior, Colton Skoch. Then we also had a goal from Coleton Phipps, and our last goal in the first half of the game was from Gage Vannoy. During the second half we only had one goal, which was made from Fabi Ruiz. Edgewood had one goal in each half.
The boys have been doing great this season, they have won 3 games so far and they have only lost 1 game to Geneva. They have had practice almost every morning during the summer and you can see how much it has paid off so far in the season! The team is together almost everyday and bonds over everything. They all treat each other like a second family.
The boys’ next game is Tuesday, September 4th at Madison High School at the varsity field against Brush. Hope to see everyone there cheering our soccer boys on! Good luck boys on the next game boys!
