The streaks dominated the field last Friday night. Taking their second win of the season against Lakeside, 29-0. From the start the Blue Streaks controlled the field, the entire game they did. The players kept their heads high when Lakeside players started playing dirty. Madison is in Perry week mode.
As the week started, the football players are practicing hard and preparing for the Perry game. Every player is prepared to play as hard as they can to beat Perry and bring the Brown Jug home. Coach Head’s prediction for this game is “17-10, Madison with the win. By the end of the first quarter it will be tied up 3-3. 2nd quarter Madison will make a big play and make the score 10-3. 3rd quarter will come around and Perry will make their big play of the night making the score 10-10. 4th quarter will wind down and Madison will score, Perry will have 1:30 to score, Madison’s defense will prevent that from happening. Then, Madison will take a knee and bring home the Brown Jug.” Players are ready to beat Perry and show them how much they improved and not to look down on them anymore. They’re ready to play hard and show them 212 effort.
Everyone is ready for the game. With the pep assembly Friday and it just being Perry week the high energy is in the air. Perry week is one of the favorite parts of the year for a majority of the student body. Get ready for a great intense game this Friday night. Be there.
