Autumn Warren is sophomore hurdler on the Girls Track and Field team. She has her one-year Varsity letter in track and her one-year Varsity letter in Soccer. Autumn is a two-year captain on the JV Soccer team and is a center defender. In outdoor track, she competes in the 100 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles, 4 by 400 meter relay, and the 4 by 200 meter relay.
In her indoor season, Autumn ran the 60 meter hurdles and the 400 meter dash. In her opinion, the competition is more serious during the indoor season. She had a new personal record this season in the 60 meter hurdles and beat her previous time by a little more than a second and consistently placed 4th in the race.
With the start of the outdoor season, she placed 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles, 1st in the 300 meter hurdles, and her 4 by 400 meter relay team also took first in their Dual Meet at home vs Eastlake North High School. Autumn made a new personal record in the 100 meter hurdles and matched her personal record in the 300 meter hurdles during the Dual Meet.
Autumn's favorite memory from track season last year was when she had to step in place of a teammate who got hurt and ended up placing fifth in the race.
Along with putting a lot of effort into sports, she also puts that same effort into school with maintaining mostly A's and taking challenging classes. Autumn plans on attending college and participating on the track team while she is there but is still undecided on what she will want to study when she gets there.
Autumn enjoys watching the TV series Shameless, lifting during school or on her free time, and hanging out with her friends.
