This past Friday, the 8th, the boys varsity basketball team has a game against Willoughby South on their home court. When playing them last they had a very close aggressive game but ending losing in the end. This game is going to be a tough challenge they have a defensive team they are also tall and athletic which is going to make them put up a fight throughout the whole night and not give up on the game. The boys are going to have to bring consistency to the court on Friday.
Some key players to help them win their game is Chris Blauman and Ryan Bowers which both players bring offense to the court. On the other end Marcus Horton brings the defense to the game which helps us to win and keep the other teams points down.
After fighting the whole night in the end the whole game is about how much they play and grow as a team. Also about the scoreboard how close they come or how hard they fight no matter what the score says. It also is about how hard they fought to win the game.
Also the boys have a back to back game on Saturday the 9th against Wickliffe they are hopefully going to take an easy win against this team. They will have to be well rested from their game on Friday and not give up and play the game. They don’t know what they are walking into they have not played Wickliffe yet this year.
