Nerve Racking Rivalry

BY: Emily Johnston

The Madison High School Cheerleaders are starting to get hype for the Madison, the Perry game this Friday. Perry is our biggest rival and this is hands down the biggest game of the season. The boys are fighting to get the brown jug back that was taken from us the past two years. We have a pep-assembly the morning of the game with the entire school, featuring the Madison cheerleaders. The varsity cheerleaders have been choreographing and practicing a dance to perform at the pep-rally. The JV cheerleaders have been practicing a cheer to perform. The girls are very excited.

Kamryn Kincaid, a senior varsity cheerleader, said, “This week is very nerve racking for everyone! We have been practicing our dance this whole week to perfect it for our biggest assembly of the year. It’s been a great start to the season. 212.” Madison High School has a different vibe to it this week, while everyone is ecstatic for this rival game.

The cheerleaders are hopeful and believe that the streaks will come home with the brown jug Friday night. Good luck boys!!!
