The Lady Blue Streaks had a tough loss against Willoughby South on September 14th, 2017. The girls fought hard for two long, hard games, but sadly fell short with the final scores of 11-25 and 17-25. After the game, Jessica McPeek, a formal alumni coach, said, “I am proud of my girls for the fire they put in the game, they just need to be able to put more energy into their games which will help them push for the win”.

Savannah West, the teams libero, had a great game with 38 great passes! Savannah passed up to her setter Emma Norman who had 28 good sets. Emma set to her middle hitter Sadie Brodwater who had 15 hits and 3 blocks. After the game, Cailin Keller, who is a middle hitter, said, “We did not play as a team this game, but plan to come back and play as one in our next game”. Another player on the team, Chloe L., an all around player, said, “ The things we need to work on is covering and not hesitate for the ball”. Another player on the team, Giana Masony, said, "we need to work on communication, talking more will make us louder so we have energy and psych the other team out”. One fan said, “ They have improved throughout the season and have put a lot of hard work and dedication into this sport". The next team they play is away against Riverside at 4:30.
