BY: Kaitlyn Rohl

Overall this years 2017-2018 students section has a been a combination of fun and creative. Seniors pose a great leaders and of many different aspects of the game to cheer on our Blue Streaks. This years student section has had a great turn out overall, all grade levels have been getting involved, to help support and cheer on our team. This years themes consisted of, the original blue streak paint up against Geneva, black out against Lakeside, and the neon out against our rivals Perry. This weeks theme is a white out, for our conference game against Willoughby South.

Senior Kalee Kless, leader of this year’s spirit section, has been a great role model, makes sure everyone is included, and encourages everyone to come out and help support. She has step up two tailgates coming into week four. These fun tailgates have a fun variety of games and loud music. These games include corn hole, KanJam, Giant Jenga, and toss with the football. Everyone comes out, paints up, and takes fun and creative pictures to bring our student section together.

Huge shoutout to Mr. Whaley, Mr. Smith, and Kalee Kless who help provide the food and paint for the those to participate in the student section. Our first two assembly were a huge contribute to gather our student body as a whole to get our team ready for kick off at 7 o'clock. Our assembly's consist of calling our original chant "212" to excite and get our student body ready for the game.

Seniors Gabby Blackford, and Kalee Kless want to thank everyone who has helped come out support our team and making many memories and putting in effort to support our boys. They want to encourage everyone to come out to tonight's game against Willoughby south, in the student section, or the even the stands. Senior Joey Smith says “I lose my voice every week, but it’s more than worth it for my team.”  Stay tuned for upcoming events and themes of the student section, you can find this news on the twitter page "MhsSection1718." I hope to see everyone at tonight's game.
