Beat Those Beavers

Madison’s ladies varsity volleyball team is starting their season off with a record of 1-2 and they are hoping to change that record to 2-2 with a win this coming Thursday. On the 29th the volleyball team and Coach Smith are travelling to Riverside High School to face their rivals of the Riverside Beaver’s volleyball team who is a big conference rival. This is their fourth game of the season and it is expected to be a really good game between the two schools. The Riverside girls are always ready to win. The girls have lost to Riverside’s team in the past years in some close games. It is expected to be a real nail biter this year between the two teams. Even with a few girls out due to some injuries the team has the confidence that they can go to the end and come out on top this year. One of the 3 varsity team captain Jordan Yates says “The girls have really come together this year and have gotten better at communicating during the games, which should help us win our game on Thursday. Staying positive and never getting to hard on yourself will really help everyone on the team this year." The girls also want to thank all their family and friends who have come out to support them at their previous games and want to see them at ones to come. The girls can all agree that seeing their fans in the crowd gives them the motivation they need to play their hardest.
