The Jv volleyball ladies had a conference rivalry game this Thursday, August 28th, at Riverside High school. There they faced the well prepared team at 5 pm. They were hoping for a win with great efforts, but couldn’t pull it off. Their record for the season so far is 1-2. I managed to talk to one of the players on the team before the match. Junior, Giana Masony. She was excited for the game but nervous knowing Riverside has a reputation for being good in volleyball. She talked about how they need better communication to be able to win a match and to be more of a team and understand each other. However, Riverside just had too good of hitters in the front row and could handle the ball really well . Then I talked to, sophomore, Aliyah Krimmel, she said they were hoping for a win but ended up with a tough loss. She said they will learn from the experience and get those girls next time.
As they head on into the rest of their season they are hoping for good results after this tough loss. Right hitter, Giana , said she can’t wait to be a leader for the girls this year and is excited for more to come. There is a Jv volleyball game tomorrow August 31st. They face a hard match against Valleyforge and they will need all the help and support from the community that they can get. Come out and support the Jv girls as they take on the rest of the WRC teams.
