The ladies are off to a good start putting up some good scores in the first couple weeks of the season. The girls golf team faced the South Rebels in a match this past Wednesday. With girls coming in with some pretty good scores the lady streaks defeated the rebels.
Overall the team is very excited about what is to come this season. The girls are improving everyday and are looking into a positive future. With the girls being one of the only teams in the league showing improvement they have a pretty good shot of coming in with the victory at the post season tournament held at their home course Erie Shores every year. The girls also had a match yesterday Thursday the 29th against the Chardon Hilltoppers. The girls played the course a little rough and had some good and bad shots. The Hilltoppers had a rough time yesterday too but overall came through with the tight win against the Blue streaks.
The girls have a busier week next week hosting the Geneva Eagles on Wednesday along with a tri match against the South Rebels and Conneaut. The girls are looking forward to this week and are going to keep pushing hard to accomplish the goals they have for this season. “I’m really looking forward to what is ahead of us. I see good things happening for this team in the future and I'm blessed to be apart of it one last time” says senior and varsity captain Alyssa Molnar.
