Ready to Go

This past Friday the varsity football team had a hard loss against Geneva after the Eagles scored a touchdown with 0:03 seconds left in the game. Though this was a tough way to start the season, the fans stayed strong and supported the boys the entire time. Everyone tried to keep great energy and cheer on the boys, regardless of the score. We were all so proud of our guys for staying strong and playing hard against the Eagles.

Special shoutout to everyone that came to the tailgate and Mr. Whaley for bringing in pizzas from Pizza Roto before the game. We had a lot of fun and it was a great way to get hyped up. In the future, let’s make sure that everyone is picking up after themselves and leaving the bleachers clean after the games, whether the game is home or away. We want to be known as a respectful student body. It’s a new week now and I hope everyone is getting ready to head out to Lakeside High School as our boys take on the Dragons this Friday night. The game starts at 7 and our theme is neon. Break out your brightest colors and come out to support. We’re also gearing up for Perry week in two weeks, there will probably be shirts for sale coming up but more news on that will come soon. Let’s get a big spirit section as we head over to Lakeside and hopefully let’s watch the boys get their first win of the season!
