New Season with Quarterback Michael O’Brien

Michael O’Brien is a well-known student at Madison High School. He is this year’s quarterback of the JV football team. Michael is respectful to his peers and teammates. He has a big heart and is always willing to lend a helping hand. The Madison football coaches are proud of Michael and the positive energy he brings to the team. As Coach Cramer states, “Michael always has an upbeat attitude.
While the freshmen team had its struggles last year, Michael never stopped working hard during the off season to make sure that this year is a great one.” His determination and strong work ethic are sure to lead the team to many victories this season. Michael feels honored to be on the team and part of the 212 community. He hopes to become a football captain his senior year.
In addition to working hard on the field, Michael has earned a 4.0 gpa and plans to graduate at the top of his class. He is a member of the Madison boy’s basketball team and hopes to earn his varsity letter in football and basketball. Michael’s favorite class is weight training with Mr. Willis and his favorite hobby is playing football. He looks up to his older brother and is proud of him because he played football during high school and in college.

His favorite movie is The Waterboy. When asked to share his most memorable moment, Michael would have to say it was last year during the last varsity football game against Brush High School, “It was such an unbelievable feeling when the crowd started storming the field for the team’s victory.” Keep up the great work Michael!
