JV Boys Soccer: Captain Chad Lewis

Captain of the boys JV soccer team, sophomore, Chad Lewis seemed to stick out being a starter of the team and one of the main goal scorers. Chad explains that “For the team I see us accomplishing a lot in the future and more improvement shows each practice. The team seems to be getting stronger and connecting better with each other on and off the field.” New to his position Chad says that he came into the new striker position this year and was nervous to see how it turned out, but after one or two runs in the game he became more confident with the placement on the field.

Outside of school Chad focuses mainly on soccer, his favorite team is the men’s Barcelona soccer team and plays for a Croatia team during the summer and winter. Chad holds A’s in all of his classes and hopes to graduate with honors in the future. He tries his best to get himself into the advanced classes every year and hopes to begin doing the engineering classes held here at Madison. Auburn and CCP had never crossed his mind and he does not plan on doing that when he eligible. His favorite classes are math, science, and any gym class. After high school Chad has not thought about any colleges or majors, he just knows that he wants to go into something that deals with math because that is his strong class. He can see himself doing something that involves engineering as his future job but Chad is still unsure. His most memorable moment in highschool so far is any soccer moment and starting a new position and enjoys it.
